The island of Tinos is notable for its artistic flair, its venerated church, and its astounding natural beauty.

Follow the path of pilgrimage to the Evangelistria church, the holiest shrine in all of Greece, which attracts thousands of devotees each year.

See the hilltop convent of Kechrovouni and climb to a summit on Mount Exobougo, where villages of old white stone and bays scooped from shimmering coastline provide a perfect photo opportunity.

Visit a basket weaver’s workshop in Volax and admire the handiwork of local artisans in Pirgos, where some of Greece’s most finely-crafted marble pieces originate.

Enjoy coach views of marble villages that arise from verdant hills, walk through a lemon orchard where the fruit is transmuted to gold under a Grecian sun, and stop in the Bay of Panormos for a seaside lunch.

Board your boat that will take you to Tinos, where you will board an air-conditioned coach for a drive over the big pilgrim avenue to the most famous church of Greece, Evangellistria he route of pilgrimage, to the Evangelistria church, the most revered religious shrine in Greece. The tour continues with a stop in the village of Volax, where you will visit a basket maker’s workshop and watch the craftsmen ply their trade. The tour continues through the fertile plateaus of Komi, the agricultural center of the island, where you will stop for a photo opportunity in the midst of its arresting lemon orchards. Forge ahead to the marble village of Pirgos, where you admire the work of local marble artists, who are among the most renowned in all of Tinos.

Further head towards the Valley of the Pigeon Houses, where the fanciful miniature towers of a thousand pigeon houses look out over massive mountains and spectral coastline and grave yard made of marble art. We will stop for a coffee break. Stroll through the village of “Tarambados” and enjoy the beautiful site of the pretty setting of the old Venetian pigeon houses. Afterwards we drive back to Tinos town where we have free time before meeting at the port and returning to Mykonos.
