The Czech people consume the most beer in the world, and a visit to Prague just wouldn’t be complete without touring the beer halls that the Republic is famous for!
Spend the evening indulging in the country’s best brews! Visit Zizkov, the part of the city that has the highest concentration of beer halls. Sample the famed Pilsner Urquell as well as some local microbrews, and even get the chance to tap your own beer!
As you drink, you’ll hear of local stories and history, savor typical Czech tapas and gain a deep appreciation of Prague and its rich history, beer, and food.
Make your way to the designated meeting point. Your guide will accompany you who will take you through the best beer sanctuaries in the city. Navigate your way to four of the most favourite beer halls to try best brews accompanied by typical Czech “beer tapas”.
Make your way to our first stop, at a local beer hall in a former industrial suburb that has become the epicentre of Prague's nightlife in recent years. Choose from lots of different kinds of beer and pair it with a hearty pork chilli (veggie options are available), served with horseradish and mustard.
Next, hop on the tram in search of a truly hidden gem, a beer cellar and garden with a jolly and cosy atmosphere that proudly sells a great variety of Czech microbrewery beers! Savour some pickled sausage, one of the most famous Czech beer snacks, served with onion and pepper.
Next, you will take the metro back to the New Town for a legendary stop at a pub where you’ll get to sample amazing beers and learn about the birth of Pilsner, one of the world’s most famous beers.
Our tour will finish back where we started, in Wenceslas Square, where we'll say our goodbyes but before you go, don’t forget to ask your local guide for more tips on what else to see, do and eating during your stay in the city. And because we are super nice and we want you to LOVE he beer culture in Prague as much as we do, we’ll also leave you with a map of Prague’s best beer halls, just in case you’ve not had enough yet!
