Penguin Parade Tour, Phillip Island:

You will be picked up from your hotel in Melbourne and driven to Philip Island for a day of leisure, fun and wildlife watching. En route to Philip Island, take in the scenic countryside. Drive along a 140-kilometer stretch from Melbourne to Phillip Island, a distance of 10,000-hectare boasting more than a hundred varieties of animal species.

Begin the day with a visit to the Wildlife Park and enjoy an interactive experience with Australian wildlife. Hand feed the kangaroos and get a closer look at the ever cuddly koalas. The koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and different types of birds provide fabulous photo opportunities. Phillip Island is also home to southern Australia’s largest colony of flying foxes. Take in the picturesque landscape of sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. Enjoy a stroll down Woolamai Beach and take to the boardwalk to see the rocky coast and spot the fur seals. Pick a comfortable seat at the beach to see the smallest penguins in the world returning to their sand burrows at sunset after a day of fishing in the ocean. Measuring about 41 centimeters tall, the Little Penguins have established colonies in the coastlines of Australia and New Zealand. You can also spot them in Tasmania and the Chatham Islands.

You will be stopping at some great places like Arthur’s Seat, Main Ridge Dairy, Sunnyridge Strawberry Farm, Mornington Peninsula Chocolates, Green Olive at Red Hill, Mock Orchard Cider Lounge and T’Gallant Winery.
