This one-day tour to transports you to the wild, west side of Ireland and shows you the most breathtaking sights and scenery Connemara has to offer. With the foaming Atlantic on one side of you during the day and endless mountains on the other, you will feel totally inspired and elated driving through this awesome place.

The Connemara day tour takes you to the wild west of Ireland. Experience its lakes, mountains and bogs where the traditions of yesteryear are still very much a part of daily life. This scenic country tour includes a photo stop at the romantic Kylemore Abbey, a 90 minutes boat cruise on the Killary fjord in summer, or traditional sheepdog trials and turf cutting in winter.

The Connemara Day Tour From Dublin takes you from Dublin at the designated meeting time point at the designated time. You will pass through many quaint towns and enjoy beautiful scenery.

During (April - October) this tour includes a one and a half hour boat cruise around Killary harbour. Your lunch stop will be on the boat during these months. During the winter season (November - March) the boat cruise does not run but you will visit the Killary Sheep Farm, a traditional farm with approximately 200 ewes and lambs that roam freely around the fjord. You will be given a skilled sheepdog demonstration and learn about how the people and livestock cope with the barren land and the harsh weather.

Next stop is Kylemore Abbey, where we will stop for some photos and lunch (entry to the abbey is not included). Once a prestigious girls boarding school, it now homes nuns on retreat and welcomes tourists from around the world. have lunch at the Abbey visitor centre ( not included ). The abbey is situated at the base of the Druchruach mountains with views out to the northern shore of Lough Pollacapall. Enjoy the views, history and the pure beauty of this place. Then you will find yourself at Inagh valley, be in awe of captivating scenic landscapes. After that you will  make a visit to the one of the most energetic cities in the world - Galway,  where you will streets flooded with musicians and performing artists. 

When you arrive back in Dublin around 7:00pm, you will be dropped off at the point where you were picked up.
