Some of the highlights of this tour are:
Passeig de Gràcia: One of the main avenues in Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia is a lively street lined with luxury and designer shops. It is a symbol of the Barcelona’s spirit of integration and influence. Visit the Passeig de Gràcia with your well-informed and experienced guide and see Gaudi's famous apartment buildings like Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló. Come face-to-face with Gaudi’s quirky creativity and brilliance and behold some of the landmark buildings of Barcelona. Located on the same street, the La Pedrera has a stony-style exterior and is specially noted for its innovative double elevators and underground parking when it was constructed. The Casa Batlló is characterized by a fanciful exterior of mosaic glass, a scaly reptilian-like rooftop and skeletal-looking windows and balconies.
Sagrada Familia Church: Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece, the increasingly pious architect started building Sagrada Familia Church in 1833. Though borrowing heavily from the cathedral-Gothic and Art Nouveau styles, Sagrada Familia Church displays Gaudi’s very own unique and distinctive style. The three Biblical scene-covered façades, and expansive interior supported by forest-like columns of the La Sagrada Familia Basilica are truly noteworthy.
On leaving Sagrada Familia you will board your coach for the return journey. At the end of the tour at approximately 12:30pm, you will be dropped off back at the meeting point in Plaza Catalunya.
