Fed up of feeling like a tourist? Want to melt into the background and feel that local vibe? Wouldn't it be nice? Well, now you can on a private tour with a local. Explore the neighbourhoods, catch the vibes and drink coffee like they do! You might want to take notes for it won’t be long before you walk like a Parisian. Step into the shoes of your guide, a local, and follow in their footsteps as they take you through the chic and vibrant Paris neighbourhoods. You’ll visit a bakery for a taste of the city as well as sitting in a café to enjoy and take in the bohemian-chic. Your guide will give you plenty of anecdotes and tips, and being a private tour make sure to ask plenty of questions. How else will you feel like a local if you don’t ask a local?
About your guide
Think of Withlocals’ tours as a sort of mini cultural exchange program. Each of their local guides aim to share a part of their city that they know and love with travellers and each bring their own tales to the table in the process.
Here’s the plan…
You’ll meet your local host who will then take you through the trendy districts and chic streets of Paris. As you make your first steps to becoming a local.
They will show you the beautiful boulevards, the gorgeous art galleries and the elegant boutiques. You’ll make your way from the cultural Latin Quarter to the hip and buzzing districts of Oberkampf and St. Martin. Along the way, you’ll visit the best organic bakery to sample the local food. And also head to Paris’s oldest café for a coffee and the chance to sit and take in the Parisian vibe.
Keep those eyes wide open as you may well spot some excellent street fashion or a creative artist, painting a masterpiece. With your guide ready to give you plenty of stories and advice, don’t forget to ask them anything that will help you towards becoming like a Parisian. It won’t be long before you’re saying, “Paris, Je t’aime”!
