An exceptional destination to relish a short break from your everyday life, the Europa Park is a treat for the young and old alike. Nestled at the heart of the Germany-France-Switzerland border triangle, between the Black Forest and Vosges, it has been awarded the Best Amusement Park in the World for 2018 by the Golden Ticket Awards and gives you access to the best of Europe in a single place.
With close to 6 million visitors every year, the park makes for a comprehensive journey through authentic European delights with its 15 thematic zones and over 100 attractions as well as shows, presenting you with exemplary architecture, gastronomy, and vegetation. Heart-stopping rides for thrill-seekers, gentler activities for seniors, adventures for people with less mobility and plenty of fun for small children - the park has it all. In fact, it also comprises 4 amazing hotels which makes it a brilliant choice for an array of experiences, be it a family vacation or a romantic wellness getaway or even a fun weekend with friends.
There are two convenient tickets you can choose from, depending on your itinerary - a 1-Day Pass or a 2-Day Pass.
But what does the park actually have in store for you? We’ll address the speed-chasers first - the spine-chilling roller-coasters. Whether it’s the WODAN -Timburcoaster in the Icelandic zone, a wooden coaster whizzing around at 100km/h, the blood-curdling Blue Fire Megacoaster powered by GAZPROM that speeds up from 0-100km/h in 2.5 sec, the Silver Star in the French zone that ascends to a staggering 73m or even the insane Euro-Mir in the Russian zone that combines the thrill of a coaster with a space-faring adventure - the roller coasters are an absolute ecstasy for adrenaline junkies and daredevils.
If you are more of the chill types, however, and looking to have some fun without indulging in hair-raising thrills, Europa Park has you covered too. Head to the Italian zone to gently float mid-air with the Volo da Vinci and savour the best of South Italian pastas as well as ice-cream. Grimm’s Enchanted Forest will tickle the fantasties of even adult fairytale fans with fantastic representations of Mother Hulda, Rapunzel and Cinderella besides others. Although a roller coaster with VR options, the Alpenexpress Enzian is a great choice for families as well. Then there’s the romantic moated castle, Balthasar, the visually pleasing Panorama Train, astonishing Crazy Taxi rides, the water-based coasters Tirol Log Flume and Poseidon which also presents you with an engaging dose of history, specific child-friendly attractions like the Ireland - Children’s World , Piccolo Mondo, Dwarf City and more.
Additionally there are over 23 hours of daily entertainment shows across the park and trust us when we say - nobody is going home without having an incredible blast of a time at the magical Europa Park!
